LúMEN_EX 2010 < Digital Art Awards - University of Extremadura >

€ 10,000 in prizes, divided into two categories:

> DIGITAL GRAPHICS in any physical format - including digital photography.

> DIGITAL ANIMATION (possibly interactive) of short duration.

Participants: may be submitted individually or collectively, without limits of age or nationality.

::COMPETITION JUDGES::

LúMEN_EX Awards announce the final composition of the competition judges, whose members are all undoubted artistic prestige in this field. Shall consist of:

> ROBERTA BOSCO
Journalist specialized in Contemporary Art and Digital Culture.
> JESúS CARRILLO
Head of Public Programs of MNCARS - Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia -
> ANTONIO FRANCO
Director of MEIAC - Museum Extremeño e Iberoamericano de Arte Contemporáneo de Badajoz -
> PILAR MOGOLLÓN
Professor of Art History at the University of Extremadura and Vice-Chancellor of the University Extension UEx.
> ACALÁ JOSÉ RAMÓN
Professor of Graphic Expression Procedures and Technologies of the Image of the University of Castilla-La Mancha. Director MIDECIANT of Cuenca.

Also, we already have confirmation from prestigious critics who will write the texts of the Awards, and catalog of the exhibition to be held with the works selected and awarded:

> Juan Martín Prada
> Juan Antonio Álvarez Reyes
(among others)

Delivery or shipment of works by post (according to the requirements of the rules) to the following address:

Sending works (according to the requirements of the rules) by email to the following address: premiosartedigital@unex.es

If the size of the site exceed the maximum allowed by the outgoing email server and / or incoming shipment will be accepted for file download links for FTP system (including free services online likes www.transferbigfiles.com type ).

Also will accept the receipt of digital animation works on a physical medium (DVD or similar) in the same above address by the Vicerrectorado de Extensión Universitaria of Caceres.
